  • Then train them better, longer, update testing, in Colorado as long as u pass tests, go to Trinindad for the Academy, pass it all you become a cop!!!! In NM you can be an officer for a year ( WITH NO TRAINING) go to Colorado, get certified then come back to NM and get NM certified! I KNOW I DID IT.

  • I agree with all of you, as an ex small town cop, there behavior and lack of training is inexcusable, today I was a " victim" of a large town police force, long story short, was honest, did the right thing and am now facing possible charges.
